Dr. Wang is currently focused on developing novel materials and technologies for important energy and environmental applications including energy storage, catalysis, green synthesis and energy devices.
Dr. Haotian Wang joined the ChBE department as an Assistant Professor and William Marsh Rice Trustee Chair.
Dr. Wang initiated his independent research career as a Rowland Fellow and built his research group at Harvard University. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D from the Department of Applied Physics at Stanford University in 2016. He was selected as the Early Career Advisory Board of Nano Letter in 2016, and won the Materials Research Society graduate student award in 2015.
