Dongyu Fan, a fourth-year doctoral student in chemical and biomolecular engineering (ChBE) at Rice University, won an Outstanding Student Poster Award for research at the fall 2022 meeting of the American Chemical Society.

Fan’s project was titled “Structural Heterogeneity and pH-dependent Collapse Behavior of Weak Polyelectrolyte Brushes Studied Using 3D Single Molecule Tracking.” She is a member of the research group headed by Christy Landes, professor of chemistry and of ChBE.

The meeting was held Aug. 21-25 in Chicago.
