Chemical engineering at Rice rose two places to 24th among the nation’s top graduate programs in the 2023 U.S. News and World Report ranking.
This marks the 16th year in a row in which Rice’s chemical engineering program has placed in the top 30 in the category of “Best Graduate Schools (Engineering, Chemical).” Among private universities, chemical engineering at Rice ranked 10th.
The annual assessment is based on evaluations by faculty at peer engineering schools.
