Zhen-Yu Wu

An article by Zhen-Yu Wu, a postdoctoral research associate in chemical and biomolecular engineering (ChBE) at Rice, has been named among the 25 most often downloaded chemistry and materials science articles published in 2021 in Nature Communications.

Wu is the lead author of “Electrochemical ammonia synthesis via nitrate reduction on Fe single atom catalyst,” published online in Nature Communications last May. Wu earned his Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei, Anhui, in 2016.

He works in the lab of Haotian Wang, the William Marsh Rice Trustee Chair and assistant professor of ChBE and of materials science and of nanoengineering. Wu’s research focuses on developing advanced nanomaterials for electrocatalysis.
